Dave Ross, a 32 year old police dog handler with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Moncton, New Brunswick, was tragically slain in the recent Moncton shootings. Sadly,┬áhe leaves behind a pregnant wife and 19-month-old son; but there’s another family member who’s having a tough time getting over the incident.

Danny, Dave’s K9 partner was seen whining and sniffing clothing articles of the deceased police officer. A tragic event to be sure, but this kind of human/dog bond is hard to ignore and is a beautiful thing.
